Milfoil – We’ve Got it Covered!

Thank you for your further interest in supporting the SLA Milfoil Control Program!

Eurasian watermilfoil is a non-native invasive species that threatens the diversity and abundance of native plants as well as the ecological balance of  Skaneateles Lake, which in turn adversely affects recreational opportunities and property values.

The Milfoil Control Program costs ~$200K annually and is supported by the SLA Membership Fund.

By becoming an annual member of the SLA, you will support the on-going prevention and remediation efforts to combat Eurasian Watermilfoil.

Please join us as a new member, or renew your membership today!

If you are already a member but want to do more, please consider supporting the milfoil boats and equipment critical to the Milfoil Control program, by giving to the SLA Legacy Fund.

Protecting Skaneateles Lake for the long term will require watershed-wide collaboration and a personal commitment from everyone who loves the lake. Your Skaneateles Lake Association is positioned to help lead the way with your continued support. Thank you again for your commitment to Skaneateles Lake!
