Curious how you can get involved in protecting the lake you love? Join us for a one-hour community science event where we’ll introduce a variety of ways you can volunteer—on land or water.

From monitoring streams to spotting algal blooms, from boat-based water sampling to shoreline plant surveys—there’s something for everyone, no matter your background or location.

Opportunities include:
– Aquatic plant surveys (need shoreline access)
– Water quality sampling (conducted from your boat)
– Stream and storm event monitoring
– Algal bloom watch: what to look for
– iNaturalist and simple tools anyone can use

All are welcome. Whether you’re lakefront, local, or just passionate about clean water—this is your chance to be part of something bigger.
